Snow again in Alabama, March 8
This is the only winter I've been in Birmingham that it's snowed twice. I stayed up all night last Friday night and watched it. At one point it was coming down horizontally and hard as I could see through a street light outside my study. At 7:30 a.m. it was a pretty frosting and by noon there was no sign it was ever there. I guess this is why people in Alabama get so excited about snow. When and if it does come, it doesn't stay long.

A. An actual snowflake
B. Maddy Lou watching snow fall for the first time (it actually made noise as it hit the window sill and she meowed at it)
C. I know I need to get a razor blade and scrape the paint off my windows
