661 Boundary Street --- my old home

When K and I were looking for a house in Birmingham I know in our hearts we wanted a bungalow that had the look and feel of the houses we lived in when we went to college at Montevallo. This is mine -- it is a little more run down than when we lived there, butt he charm and signature bungalow features are still very much alive. If I ever had the means I would buy this house and restore it. I will always love it like a friend.

Of all three houses, I like this one best, It has a very cozy looking front porch....

I hate a house that does not have a grand and cozy front porch....

When I get old, I want to be the old guy sitting rocking in a rocking chair pecking away at his laptop computer....the modern day version of the old guy sitting on his porch rocking an writing his memoirs in a journal or diary....

I agree 100% with you Mojo. I feel the same the way.We spent many hours on this porch playing guitar and talking and looking out at the world. It's all about a front porch to me as far as houses go.

This house is in Montevallo Lee Ann.
